The snow is still blowing, and it’s getting dangerously cold. The library is closed again tomorrow. We came to town to check on a few folks, but we are headed back home to hunker down. Please stay safe, and check on your neighbors if you can.

Jr Library Board is active again. This is very exciting to me, the youth at the library have creativity that I can only dream of. They help with fundraising, remodel ideas for their space, advice on current authors and books for their collection. Maybe, most importantly insisting and helping the library find ways to meet their goals to keep the library a destination that is useful and interesting.
The Library got a technology grant for a new all in one printer/fax/copier we need. Our current set up is technically ancient. The donation jars we put around town collected most of what we needed for our share of the purchase. Thanks to everyone for their generosity, donating to make Toronto Library the best it can be.
