November, 2011
Jr Library Board is active again. This is very exciting to me, the youth at the library have creativity that I can only dream of. They help with fundraising, remodel ideas for their space, advice on current authors and books for their collection. Maybe, most importantly insisting and helping the library find ways to meet their goals to keep the library a destination that is useful and interesting.
The Library got a technology grant for a new all in one printer/fax/copier we need. Our current set up is technically ancient. The donation jars we put around town collected most of what we needed for our share of the purchase. Thanks to everyone for their generosity, donating to make Toronto Library the best it can be.
November Bingo
We had a total of 16 kiddos for BINGO tonight! We also squeezed in some board games and homework help! Snacks and drinks were generously donated and the kids say THANK YOU Sandstone Market and Deli and Sassy Sisters’ Marketplace!

Changes…
If you haven’t been in the library in a while, it’s time for a visit! I’ve been busy moving things around to give people of all ages a more functional space for gathering.
