April is Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Month. Hunter was wonderful help planting our pinwheel garden yesterday! We hope it’ll catch your eye and you can stop by to learn more about this project.

Thank you to the eager volunteers who took to our beautiful local hiking trails for an afternoon of cleaning and repainting markers yesterday! We are so lucky to have these incredibly scenic areas so close to home, and it feels good to invest in them and help out our wonderful State Park team. Our Bucket Gardening Class was a wonderful indoor activity for this rainy morning. Thank you Krista and Southwind Extension District for putting this on for us! We had a great turnout!

Our first ever Crochet Club was a hit!

Our Stay & Play event was a success! Thank you, Southeast Kansas Multi-County Health Dept. for being our guest this evening! We had seven littles and their grown ups! It was so much fun!

We had such a great time at our Trivia Night! Thank you all for coming out and for supporting the library! We are well on our way to our fundraising goal! Thank you Getty’s for your partnership and for providing prizes! Thank you Emerald City Foods for providing lasagna! We will do it again!
