The Middle School boys eating lunch in the library today found out what happens when a book lover opens boxes to find 114 new books! “BRUH!” There was singing, dancing, and a lot of squeals and giggles!
Our library was awarded The Children’s Book Project grant from The Pilcrow Foundation in December, and Ms Jessie got to pick out which books to order from the foundation list. The retail value of these books is over $1600.
Thank you to Toronto Senior Center and several other individuals for helping us with our $400 grant match! Your names will be added to the book plates inside each book, and children will enjoy your generosity for many years!
